How to Plan Your CSCA Preparation

A week-by-week roadmap that balances concept learning, daily practice and full-length mock exams.
Many students do not struggle with CSCA because of ability — they struggle because they study without a plan. This guide shows you how to organise your CSCA preparation step by step: understanding the exam, choosing subjects, building a study schedule, preparing Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, and using previous exam questions and mock tests to finish strong.
Understanding the CSCA exam
The CSCA is an academic exam used in admission to Chinese universities. It tests subject knowledge in areas such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Before you plan anything, read our free CSCA guideline to understand how the exam works, then check the official requirements of the universities you are applying to, because they decide which subjects you need.
Choosing your subjects
Start from your target programme. Engineering and science programmes usually need Mathematics together with Physics or Chemistry, but always confirm with the university itself. Choose the language you learn best in — our courses are available in both Bangla and English.
Creating a CSCA study schedule
A simple three-phase plan works well for most students over about 12 weeks:
Phase 1 (weeks 1–4): build concepts
Study subject by subject. Finish each module with a short topic quiz so you know the idea has stuck before moving on.
Phase 2 (weeks 5–8): mixed practice
Mix topics and subjects. Aim for regular daily practice questions and one longer sectional test each weekend.
Phase 3 (weeks 9–12): full mock exams
Sit full-length mock tests under real timing, then review every wrong answer in detail.
If you have less time, keep the same order but shorten each phase. Consistent daily study beats long, irregular sessions.
CSCA Mathematics preparation
Mathematics rewards steady practice. Learn each method, then solve many questions on it until you can do them quickly and accurately. Keep a list of formulas and review it every few days. Structured lessons are available in our CSCA Mathematics course in Bangla and CSCA Mathematics course in English.
CSCA Physics preparation
In Physics, understand the concept first, then practise applying formulas to numerical problems. Always write units and check whether your answer makes sense. Follow the CSCA Physics course in Bangla or the CSCA Physics course in English to cover topics in a clear order.
CSCA Chemistry preparation
Chemistry mixes memory and calculation. Revise definitions, reactions and key facts in short regular sessions, and practise calculation questions separately. See the CSCA Chemistry course in Bangla and the CSCA Chemistry course in English.
Using CSCA previous exam questions
Past papers show you the style and level of real questions. Use them after you have covered a topic, not before. Work through our CSCA previous exam questions and note which question types you get wrong most often.
Using CSCA mock tests
Mock tests train timing and exam pressure. Take them in one sitting, without breaks, as if it were the real exam. Try the CSCA mock tests and read our article on common mistakes students repeat in mock exams.
Reviewing weak topics
After every quiz or mock test, write each mistake in an error log: the topic, why you got it wrong, and the correct method. Return to those topics first in your next study session. Our guide on turning weak-topic analytics into marks explains how to use your results to choose what to study next.
Final revision strategy
In the last weeks, stop starting new topics. Revise your formula lists and error log, take one or two more full mock tests, and rest well before exam day. Walk in knowing exactly how you will spend your time.
